I will be facilitating a series of writing workshops at the beautiful Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre for term 2, including Short Stories: the art of rearranging words (Tuesday nights, May 6 to June 9), Develop Your Writing Practice (Saturday mornings, May 2 to June 6) and Creative Writing in a Day (Sunday 17 May). Last Best Chance is available now! The launch took place on 17 May at Manning Library alongside Deborah Pike’s brilliant new novel, The Players, as part of the Fremantle Press Great Big Book Club.
I discussed my first novel, The Glass House, with a book club at KSP Writers’ Centre in Greenmount on 1 June.
I was in conversation with author Tess Woods at the Peter Cowan Writers Centre as part of Love to Read Local Week!
I facilitated a Crafting Short Stories workshop at Armadale Library.

I was part of two events at the Perth Festival Writers Weekend! I talked genre fiction as part of The Business of Being a Writer at the Fremantle Town Hall and moderated ‘On the Fringes’ with Aussie writers Jennifer Down (Bodies of Light), Hayley Scrivenor (Dirt Town) and Holden Sheppard (The Brink) at Fremantle Arts Centre.

Fremantle Press kindly asked me to guest-host some of their podcasts! had amazing chats with David Allan-Petale (Locust Summer), Maria Papas (Skimming Stones), Karen Herbert (The River Mouth and The Castaways of Harewood Hall), and David Whish-Wilson (The Sawdust House, plus many other novels).
